M-ACT has been a valuable asset in the Marysville area for over forty years.  Since our beginning, over 750 M-ACT participants have produced more than 40 musicals and over 75 other productions for audiences in Marshall County and the surrounding area.  M-ACT provides a stage for participants of all ages to explore the world of live theater while taking advantage of a great outlet for creativity.  In particular, M-ACT is an artistic outlet and a training ground for the youth of our community.  Our alumni have gone on to become professional actors, lawyers, teachers, and journalists.  Some have remained in the community, others have moved on to bigger things, but universally they credit M-ACT with giving them the skills and the confidence they needed to become successful.

 

        M-ACT is truly a home for the theatrical arts in Marshall County.  Its productions provide local citizens the opportunity to share their talents with the community, whether those talents are as performers, designers, artists, seamstresses, carpenters, writers, or any of a myriad of other skills.  But more than that, M-ACT is a family.  We are a group of dedicated artists who care for one another and support one another in good times and bad.  We are a creative force, skilled in problem-solving and dedicated to producing the highest-quality theatrical productions with the resources at our disposal.​
